ADHD is one of those conditions that influences every relationship possible, in one way or another – family, friends, teachers, communities, etc. When one family member has ADHD, every family member is impacted in some way. Sibling dynamics are often complicated, as well as relationships with extended family members. There’s really no important relationships that’s not impacted when anyone is diagnosed with ADHD. It’s useful for parents to understand and  accept how important it is that they be adaptable to their children, who are constantly changing human beings with the complicated brain-wiring of ADHD.

In this inspiring conversation, Dr. Taniesha Burke shares insights from her experience and research on building healthy, connected, resilient families in conversation with Laurie Dupar, who brings her decades of experience as a mom and a practitioner to the conversation. Together, they explore how changing a home environment can improve relationships for families living with ADHD.
