with Caroline Maguire, M.Ed., ACCG, PCC

$13.00

What appears to be a natural consequence to a behavior is often lost on your child with ADHD. Shouldn’t he “get it” that putting fingers in someone’s face will make them annoyed? Shouldn’t she realize that blowing off her teacher multiple times will make him not available? Your daughter can’t be bothered to reach out to friends for weeks, and yet expects to resume where they left off. According to the Laws of Science, repeated activities should predict outcomes. In this presentation, Caroline Maguire, M. Ed., PCC shares insight into the mind of your child. These kids aren’t necessarily lonely, although many are. They have low self-awareness, and fail to understand the social world. She will offer actionable steps to help your child read social cues, body language, tone, and facial expressions. She will advise on how to help your child be the first to reach out to a potential new friend and how to embrace responsibility for their actions. Let’s help your son finally connect the dots between his actions and his social sphere.
