Meditation • Exercise • Diet • Sleep
Meditation, exercise, diet, and sleep are the “non-med M.E.D.S.” that experts agree are essential for managing ADHD. They help regulate mood, attention, and energy—but for adults with ADHD, they’re often the hardest habits to maintain.
In this session, we’ll explore how couples can work together to make these healthy routines more achievable. You’ll learn why consistency is so difficult for the ADHD brain, how to avoid common relationship traps of nagging or frustration, and how to build shared systems of support and accountability. When partners understand the role these non-med M.E.D.S. play in brain function and executive regulation, they can transform tension into teamwork—helping the ADHD partner stay on track and strengthening the relationship in the process.
