Have you heard the term “ally” bandied about but aren’t really sure what it means? Curious how it’s different from being an advocate? And what does any of that mean for you as a parent in terms of how to best support your complex kids? This exploratory conversation with veteran coaches Jodi Sleeper-Triplett and Elaine Taylor-Klaus — both consciously and actively engaged as allies in the gender and neurodiversity communities (and their intersection) — introduces listeners to key concepts and specifics of language, nuances and challenges, to help you continue to be the best parent you can for kids who are complex, either in terms of neurodiversity, gender and/or sexuality, or both.
