Description

In this talk we look at the unique ways ADHD can affect women and how mindfulness can help manage the common difficulties. We will talk about strategies to tame anxiety, stress and overwhelm; ways to regulate intense emotions; and the practice of tuning into your deeper feelings or needs. Whether it is being constantly on the go or easily distracted, the ADHD symptoms can make it hard to tune to one’s inner experiences. Mindfulness can be a way to fully understand who you are, how to embrace your strengths and weaknesses, and how to advocate for yourself effectively.
