Women with ADHD are seen many times as emotional, not able to control their feelings, experiencing self-doubt, and not trusting themselves. Women with ADHD have challenges with their Reticular Activating System, which is the part of the brain that filters all the information coming at them. What women focus on is very important and if the focus is on negative self-talk, what does not work, how NOT good they are at something, their self-confidence plummet, and their RAS proves this true because the focus is on that negative, and we are only looking for proof of that. The more proof you SEE the stronger your belief is. And the loop continues. By focusing on the OUTCOME you want for yourself, by being intentional and visualizing what you want more in your life you can change this. Learn to display your dreams in a visual way with the purpose of keeping what’s important to you in front of you.
