with Sarah Cheyette, M.D. & Carolyn Parcells

$13.00

The medical management of kids with ADHD is certainly more complicated than most parents wish. Parents face what seem like an unending number of ‘treatment decisions’ as medical managers for children with ADHD and related co-existing conditions. In the best of worlds, parents are guided by well-informed physicians and providers as their children and teens emerge into young adults – leading parents to make the most effective decisions about combinations of behavior management and medicine. However, all too often, many providers are not well informed themselves about the ‘decision trees’ parents need to consider with each new stage of development.

In this conversation between two prescribing physicians who specialize in the treatment of children and teens with ADHD, Drs. Sarah Cheyette and Carolyn Lentzsch-Parcells establish the gold standard for treatment. They speak clearly about the relationship between “pills and skills” in the treatment of ADHD, providing an essential, informative conversation for all parents of kids of all ages.
